Accounting Manager Denver CO

The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the Healthcare Sector looking to add a newly created Accounting Manager to their high performing team. The Accounting Manager supports the national, multi-site organization to achieve strategic and financial goals. The Accounting Manager will be the right-hand person of the Assistant Controller, managing all aspects of accounting, finance, and administration. The Accounting Managers first responsibility will be to continue maintain the growth the accounting function and team to support the various stages of growth.

Location: Central Denver, CO

Schedule: Remote through Labor Day then moving to a hybrid model

Compensation: $93,000 – $103,000


Qualifications


Bachelors or masters degree in economics, finance, accounting, or other

CPA or MBA strongly preferred

2+ years in public accounting required

2+ years in corporate accounting or finance preferred

Healthcare, medical, health and wellness, home health industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

Enhances accounting department use of software and integrates software into accounting processes and procedures

Revise and/or create new policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Helps establish and implement short and long-range accounting department goals, objectives, policies, and procedures

Assists with the development, documentation, and implementation of internal controls

Develops, maintains, and enhances accounting and finance policies, processes, and procedures to comply with US GAAP

Assists with the annual financial audit process performed by our independent CPA firm

Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

Supervises the preparation of the monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis

Supports with research and resolution of technical accounting issues as necessary

Responsible for timely, accurate and efficient monthly accounting close

Manages accounting functions on a day-to-day basis including accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury management, procurement, and general ledger accounting

Manages cash; monitors daily balances, receipts, and disbursements; prepares rolling cash flow forecasts

Experience in a multi-site operation including consolidation of multiple entities

Skills

US GAAP

NetSuite experience is a plus

Advanced Excel skills required

Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Proven ability to build, train, motivate, and mentor team members preferred
