The Lincoln Group has partnered with a fast-growing, private equity-owned, automotive organization in search of an AP Analyst on a direct-hire basis to join their exceptional team. The Accounts Payable Analyst assists with high-volume processing and coding of invoices across multiple companies. This position is responsible for managing multiple inboxes, verifying and coding invoices, identifying, and assisting with implementing process improvements, and Vendor onboarding. This position reports to the Accounting AP manager.

Compensation: $50,000-$55,000 plus 10% annual bonus

Schedule: Remote 8-10 weeks, then Hybrid schedule

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and reviews daily multiple AP mailboxes
  • Reviews and sends invoices to the correct box for processing
  • Process high volume of invoices verifying vendor information is correct and coding invoices accurately and timely
  • Communicates effectively and efficiently with co-workers, store managers, regional managers, Vendors, and others throughout the company
  • Assists with onboarding new Vendors as company grows and acquires new stores
  • Assists with Utility processing, credit card reconciliation, property taxes, and AP close process
  • Investigates and responds to all vendor inquires in a timely manner
  • Escalating issues as needed
  • Assists with any other project as may be assigned

Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn and then routinely apply policies and procedures without daily instruction and under general supervision
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very good interpersonal skills
  • Conscientious and detail-oriented to produce accurate financial data with a sense of urgency and follow-through
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks and/or projects in a fast-paced environment at one time
  • Ability to embrace change

Education & Experience: 

  • High school diploma or (GED) preferably associates degree in related field (accounting or finance preferred)
  • High Volume AP invoice processing
  • 3+ years of AP experience
  • Multiple company experience a plus

Working Climate: 

  • The ability to sit and/or standing for extended periods of time
  • The ability to climb up and down stairs
  • Willingness and able to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
  • Identify and manage potential conflicts and challenges; proactively handle problems before they arise
