Hardware Engineer – NPI Las Vegas Nevada

The Lincoln Group has partnered with an exceptional Engineering Firm, in the embedded software solutions manufacturing industry, that is looking for a Hardware Engineer. This role will be responsible for NPI (New Product Introduction) planning, directing, and coordinating customers’ new product design, development, assembly, or test engineering disciplines within product engineering. 

Type of Hire: Direct Hire

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Work Schedule: In office M-F

Compensation: $150,000 per year, plus benefits. Relocation assistance provided for out-of-state candidates

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Work with Program Management and customers to understand customer’s technical requirements

Must have a solid understanding of electronic circuits and designs

Work with design engineers to solve technical issues and ensure technical deliverables are met in time

Interface with external vendors and internal hardware, mechanical, power, thermal, manufacturing, and software engineers to review requirements

Troubleshoot and diagnose the root cause of system failures and isolate the components/failure scenarios while working with internal & external stakeholders

Manage hardware, characterization, and requirements during the NPI development phase and into production

Verify and validate the product to meet the product specification and requirements

Manage and guide the transition of NPI Products into production

After product release, continue to manage engineering responsibilities for the system, hardware, and production processes

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

 

BS, MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience

Knowledge of/ Experience in/ Proficiency in analog (including RF) and digital circuits

Experience with prototyping solutions

Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills and communication skills

Experience working in manufacturing and/or in a product development role

Desire to collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide to achieve objectives

Good organizational skills and the desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

Self-motivated and able to take direction on high-level objectives and create/execute project plans
