Tax Associate Casper WY

The Lincoln Group has partnered with a leader in the client services industry in search of a Tax Associate, on a direct-hire basis, to join their exceptional team! The Tax Associate role will work under the supervision of a Controller, Director, Manager, and/or CPA. An Associate will support the firm’s clients in the duties listed below and provide support to the staff they work with. Some duties listed below are subject to the department the Associate primarily works in. This is an excellent opportunity for advancement!
Type of Hire: Direct Hire
Software: Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, CCH Axcess
Location: Casper, WY
Work Schedule: Hybrid model with flexible schedule options
Compensation: Salary $55K – $75K DOE, plus biannual performance bonuses
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Process Federal and State compliance reporting
- Prepare individual and entity tax returns
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Perform general bookkeeping including payroll and account reconciliations
- Follow strict guidelines regarding file management and client confidentiality
- Regularly use Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Use QuickBooks
- Regularly use Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite (Ultra Tax)
- Maintain a full schedule
- Input data, schedule required jobs, and verify the data
- May assist in audits
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Tax Accounting or a related field required
- Pursuing CPA is preferred, but not required
- 2+ years of accounting experience

- Detail-oriented, accurate, and extremely organized
- Strong customer service skills, a team player, and a great listener
- Able to set priorities independently and skillfully juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced office
- Service mentality
