Manufacturing Design Engineer

The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the metal forging fabrication industry in search of a Manufacturing Design Engineer to join their team on a direct-hire basis! This position will be responsible for producing drawings and process tooling designs in support of the manufacturing organization and customers. We are looking for a self-motivated, focused, and organized candidate that is eager to join a great company that is experiencing ongoing business growth!

Type of Hire: Direct Hire

Software: Microsoft Office, CAD, and SolidWorks

Location: Oxnard, CA

Work Schedule: Choice of 3 shifts, with potential for overtime

Compensation: $70K – $100K DOE

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

·Provide manufacturing support for process and tooling development.

·Initiate, issue, and revise engineering drawings and specifications.

·Interface with vendors as needed for design development.

·Develop SolidWorks models and drawings for new products and the tooling required to build them

·Review customer drawings/specifications and design the process flow and tooling requirements to meet the custom specification

·Provide technical assistance to the manufacturing organization and to sales/customers.

·Support senior engineering staff as directed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

·Entry level: 0-2 years related experience.

·Work experience in a Manufacturing environment is a plus; experience in a company that makes “engineered metal products” is a big plus.

·Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or design Engineering from a four-year college or university.

·Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
