The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the energy industry and is searching for a Paralegal to join their team on a direct-hire basis! The Paralegal will support the internal legal team and report to the General Counsel. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who excels in multi-tasking and has experience dealing with natural resources issues.

 

Type of Hire: Direct Hire

Location: Broomfield, CO

Work Schedule: Full-time in-office

Compensation: $70,000 – $100,000 and a 15% STIP

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

 

·Maintain corporate records, including preparation of board meeting materials and corporate resolutions

·Coordinate all aspects of the department’s timely, complete, and accurate responses to numerous and simultaneous requests in project matters

·Prepare draft documents, including service contracts, real property documents, and other regulatory filings

·Accurate and timely maintenance of project status spreadsheet, populating a spreadsheet with critical file-specific data and noting significant developments or communications

·Organize and maintain files for all projects

·Create source files of key company documents for use in recurring projects

·Coordinate with external legal counsel on specific assignments, review preliminary advice and provide internal recommendations

·Compile and assist in the organization and analysis of outside counsel billings

·Gather, organize, summarize, and index documents from various sources including litigation filings

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES:

 

·Demonstrated experience preparing draft documents, including service contracts, real property documents, and other regulatory filings

·Significant prior experience maintaining corporate records, including preparation of board meeting materials and corporate resolutions

·Proven experience overseeing the contract process, including planning, collaboration, negotiation, and execution

·Significant prior experience managing documents in mergers and acquisitions, project financing, and general transactional closings

·Paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program

·Strong organizational skills

·Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities

·Strong analytical and research skills

·Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house setting
