The Lincoln Group is partnering with a global manufacturing company in search of an experienced Network Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of network support experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Windows Operating Systems, as well as knowledge of Hyper-V and VMWare. Work Schedule: Full-time in the office
Compensation: $100,000 a year
Principal Duties:
- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware in a networked or standalone configuration.
- Administer systems using MS Windows Hyper-V, and VMWare current version 7+.
- Manages MS Windows client and server operating systems in a Microsoft Domain environment.
- Maintain database of equipment issued to the end
- Support Network printer and print server administration for remote and mobile WiFi endpoints.
- Provide solutions for IT infrastructure and help desk issues using hands-on experience, logical assessment, analysis, troubleshooting skills, and root cause preventive measures.
- Conduct research on network products, services, and applications supporting the trouble-ticket resolution.
- Enforce security standards and best practices for currently utilized technology solutions.
- Test new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user
- Support Network printer and print server administration for remote and mobile WiFi endpoints.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in a network support
- Must have experience working in a support-type position in mid-sized or larger companies and must exhibit proficiency with MS Windows operating systems and general network support concepts and tasks.
- Knowledge of NAS/SAN storage systems with a solid understanding of Enterprise-level storage concepts.
- Strong understanding of IT concepts and ability to complete tasks under minimal direction with a practical approach to solutions.
- Ability to work in a multi-task work environment, with regular interruptions and
- Communicate regularly with management and users of information services and systems.
- Demonstrates positive interpersonal and customer service skills to assist non-technical individuals with technical issues.
- Requires valid CA Driver’s License and proof of automobile insurance
