Procurement Manager Camarillo CA

Lincoln Group Industrial Services has partnered with an exceptional client in the Biopharma industry that is looking for a Procurement Manager. The Procurement Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of procurement, including sourcing and delivery of goods and services, supplier negotiations, contract administration, and vendor performance management while identifying possible obstacles that may affect productivity.
Type: Direct Hire
Location: Camarillo, CA
Work Schedule: Full-Time in Office
Compensation: $110,000K a year plus a discretionary 10% bonus.
Responsibilities
- Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production
- Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs
- Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
- Negotiate effective contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers
- Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements
- Maintain relationships with suppliers while continually searching for additional vendors
- Responsible for the review of logistic and procurement-related document requirements
- Stay current with industry & market trends
- Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production
- Implement and measure cost savings, reduction programs, and strategies
- Further, develop and manage the S&OP process
- Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Duties
- Address employee issues by partnering with Human Resources on sensitive employee relations and/or performance issues and employee terminations
- Interview, hire, train, and mentor Procurement staff
- Assign work schedules, job assignments, and activities to Engineering staff
- Provide timely and constructive performance feedback, corrective actions, and performance evaluations
Skills
- 5+ Years of Manufacturing Procurement Management
- Experience managing internal and external vendors
- ERP system knowledge is required. Syteline preferred
- 3 + years of managerial experience
- APICS Certification preferred
- 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen certified a plus
- The ability to consolidate and analyze data, draw conclusions, and clearly communicate recommended solutions is required
- Requires valid CA Driver’s License and proof of automobile insurance
