Quality Assurance Manager Las Vegas NV

The Lincoln Group has partnered with an exceptional Electronics Manufacturing Company (embedded computing solutions), who is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to create, manage, and maintain a quality assurance program that increases customer satisfaction, decreasing defects, and increases profitability. The ideal candidate will have both the technical skills and also a strong ability to lead and mentor a team. Excellent communication and presentation skills is a must. To be considered for this role, you must be currently working in the electronics field.
Compensation: $120,000 plus Excellent Benefits, including 401k and onsite fitness center. (Relocation assistance available)
Essential Functions:
- Identify problems, report losses, make improvements.
- Manage the quality control team.
- Create metrics to track effectiveness and increase the managers ability to make the best product quality decisions.
- Root cause analysis, process capability, control charts, measurement quality.
- Use statistics to predict trends for improving product quality.
- Review customers product satisfaction and strategize ways to reduce production costs.
- Create quality planning methods.
- Create, and assist with process certification on the floor.
- Train the quality control team.
- Create a vendor performance rating system.
- Monitor and manage the calibration and testing programs.
- Report trends, quality issues, and losses to management.
- Internal and external quality control audits.
- Communicate and coordinate with 3rd party vendors.
Requirements
- 10+ years of QA systems implementation and management
- 5+ years of QA Management in the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Microsoft Office
- Printed circuit board inspection of an ipc-a-61-, and j-std-001 exp.
- ESD procedures knowledge
