Senior Accounts Payable Analyst Englewood Colorado

The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in South Denver immediately in search of a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to start on a direct-hire basis. Our client is experiencing exciting expansion, and they are seeking a highly motivated Sr. AP Analyst who will report to the Accounting Manager. This role offers a salary range of $55,000-$60,000 with eligibility for a 5% annual bonus.

Position Overview:

The Senior Account Payable Analyst will assist with recording and payment of Accounts Payables as well as be responsible for managing multiple mailboxes, verifying and coding invoices, identifying and assisting with implementing process improvements, and Vendor onboarding.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Assist with setting up weekly payment runs and ensure all invoices are paid within the established due dates.
  • Monitor and review multiple AP mailboxes. Review and send invoices to the correct mailbox for processing.
  • Assist with processing of monthly rent roll and ensure all rent payments are made on time.
  • Utility processing, property taxes, and AP close process.
  • Investigate and respond to all vendor inquires in a timely manner. Escalate issues as needed.
  • Process high volume of invoices, verify vendor information is correct and code invoices accurately and timely.
  • Ability to assist with onboarding new Vendors as company grows and acquires new stores.
  • Assist with vendor conversion to new Accounting Software.
  • Record and reconcile AMEX Credit card statements for AP and T&E Cards; follow up with employees on expense reporting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High Volume AP invoice processing.
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and then routinely apply policies and procedures without daily instruction and under general supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks and/or projects in a fast-paced environment at one time along with the ability to embrace change.
  • Excellent Written and vendor communication skills.
  • Conscientious and detail-oriented to produce accurate financial data with a sense of urgency and follow-through.

Education or Formal Training:

  • High school diploma, required.
  • Associates degree in related field, accounting or finance preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, required.


  • 5+ years of AP experience.
  • Multiple company experience a plus.
  • Utility processing, property taxes, and AP close process.
  • Recording and reconciling credit card states for AP and T&E cards.
