Senior Financial Analyst Denver Colorado

The Lincoln Group is immediately seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on Direct Hire basis for our client in the Distribution Industry located in Denver, CO. The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the VP of Finance and Accounting. They will be responsible for ongoing financial reporting, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting of the business, along with other ad-hoc financial, data, and operational analysis projects. We are looking for a strategic and critical thinker to join this exceptional team that can provide thorough analytical insights to achieve companywide goals and objectives.


Type of Hire: Direct Hire

Software: Microsoft Excel

Location: Denver, CO

Work Schedule: M-F, flexible hours with options to work remote

Compensation: $80K – $100K DOE




Contribute to the analysis and underwriting of acquisition opportunities

Source, gather, and analyze data from multiple sources to provide reporting and give detailed informative suggestions based on analysis

Identify and/or assist in the implementation of cost savings opportunities, process and procedure improvements, and other special projects

Assist in the budgeting, business planning, forecasting, and financial reporting needs through timely and detailed analysis

Support decision-making processes with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis on a wide range of business and financial matters

Prepare and deliver insightful variance analysis to help improve the business and achieve targets

Identify business growth drivers and trends




Excellent Excel skills with particular experience with What If analysis, V-Look up’s and Pivot Tables. Power BI or other data analytics tools experience preferred

High degree of attention to detail

Exceptional written and oral communications skills

Proven ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet deadlines, strong organizational skills

Operate with a sense of ownership

Exhibit intellectual curiosity and ability to problem solve

Feel comfortable with ambiguity

Proven track record of success in an operational finance role with 2+ years of experience modeling and forecasting 3 statement models

Financial and accounting aptitude to analyze financial information with strong analytic abilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stretch “up and down” with business demands

Strong analytic abilities

Ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism and good judgment

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
