Senior Production Supervisor Las Vegas Nevada

The Lincoln Group has partnered with an exceptional Engineering Firm, in the embedded software solutions manufacturing industry, that is looking for a Senior Production Supervisor. This company provides leading-edge technology in a wide diversity of industries to include, including advanced medical diagnostic equipment, high-energy physics experiments, industrial Internet of things (IoT) automation systems, airborne reconnaissance, and other defense and aerospace systems.

Work Schedule: In office M-F
Compensation: $100,000 per year, plus benefits.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Oversees area manufacturing to ensure optimized levels of expenditures
Ensures production targets/goals are met
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction
Supports inventory cycle counts at year-end
Works with quality to proactively analyze trends for process improvements
Works closely with the quality department to resolve customer quality issues thru the development and implementation of corrective action
Responsible for documenting processes for ISO and ensuring that these processes are followed
Works with quality to prepare manufacturing presentations for customer audits
Responsible for conducting employee interviews, and performance evaluations for assigned manufacturing team and in conjunction with human resources resolving employee concerns
Member of the new product team, providing input for manufacturability, developing, and tracking manufacturing schedules
Monitors to ensure that quality principles & standards are applied & adhered to throughout the manufacturing
Responsible for production resource planning in conjunction with the production manager
Oversees lean implementation program identifying wastes and improving efficiencies
Determines effective work processes
Develops resource plan based on sales forecast and production capacity
Develops production and quality goals within a manufacturing organization
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree or higher and at least 7 years of related operations management experience
Proficiency with MRP/ERP Systems
Extensive knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, including SMT
Extensive experience and knowledge in initiating and driving manufacturing process improvements
Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing standards, ie. IPC standards (IPC-A-600, 610, 620, or equivalent)
Ability to read and understand engineering assembly documents such as BOMs, assembly drawings, engineering change orders, and quality process documents
Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Extensive knowledge of electronic component types and packages
