Technical Program Manager Greenwood Village CO

The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the technology industry in search of a Technical Program Manager to join their team on a direct-hire basis! The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will lead the manufacturing operations, including supplier follow-up for current products, development of manufacturing processes, and vertical integration strategies for future potential products.  The TPM will work with suppliers to develop a business plan for all components of supplier inventory and compensation plans, alternate supply possibilities in case of supply chain disturbances, and the ability of the supply chain to meet current and projected volumes on time. Location:Greenwood Village, CO 

Work Schedule:Full-time, In-office 

Compensation: $110,000 – $150,000+ per year DOE

 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES: 

·Set and continually work with suppliers to improve cost performance and product quality.  

·Establish and review Key Supplier Performance Indicators (KPIs) necessary to ensure on-time product delivery, quality, and contract conformance. 

·Maintain the product operations plan. This includes the bill of material, supplier and sub-suppliers, and in-process material quantities.

·Assure suppliers utilize industry standard test equipment to validate product quality as necessary. 

·Experience with manufacturing processes, including but not limited to, electronics assembly, tool construction, injection molding tooling and processes, additive and subtractive machining, and software and firmware development. 

·Establish production contingency plans for manufacturing issues, including but not limited to, tooling failure, sub-supplier non-conformances, transportation issues, materials issues, etc. 

·Establish the manufacturing plans for future products including preliminary costing, volumes, delivery estimates, and risks. 

·Maintain timely reporting of KPI performance by the supply base for products. 

·Assess the conformance to the company supplier quality processes and procedures. 

·Lead the program management deployment within the supply base. Assure industry-accepted project management standards are deployed and utilized by the supply base as necessary throughout the product life cycle. 

·Assure there is a continuous improvement process deployed at suppliers yielding positive results. 

·Provide timely alerts of deviation from typical KPI operating ranges. 

·Manage with data-driven supplier management KPIs. Assess and recommend tools and methodologies to assure efficient conformance to product quality and performance requirements. 

·Provide primary guidance to suppliers regarding conformance to the supplier quality program, including effective and efficient deployment. 

·Develop and deploy logistics inventory and warehousing standards via third-party vendors.

  

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES: 

 

·Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, technical, manufacturing, operations program management, or related discipline.

·Experience with business management practices, including but not limited to, supply chain management, product life cycle management, inventory control, material control, packaging and shipping, part approval process, root cause problem-solving, and risk management. 

·10+years of industry experience in Program or Project Management, Quality, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering. Preferably in a SaaS, manufacturing, consumer electronics, or medical device environment.

·Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools, continuous improvement tools, and lean manufacturing methodologies. 

·Excellent written and verbal interpersonal, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills. 

·Proficiency in office automation software, including email, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software, remote communications, etc. 

·Public company experience, preferred.

·Demonstrated ability to apply strong analytical skills and innovation to develop detailed workflows and implement sustainable processes.
