Warehouse 2nd Shift Coppell Texas

Lincoln Group Industrial Services has partnered with an exceptional client in the food manufacturing & distributing industry that is looking for several Warehouse Staff members to assist with picking, packing, and machine operation in Coppell, TX.

Shift: 2nd  

Hours: 1:45pm – 10pm

Availability: must be available to work weekends  

Compensation: $16.50/hr; wage increase after 90 days of satisfactory attendance and performance

Responsibilities:

  • Gives breaks to packers, machine operators, Douglas Operators, and stackers
  • Basic understanding of the QA Lab duties as backup for QA Lab analyst
  • Relieves employees according to the provided schedule
  • Label and color code all containers used in the production process; ensure compliance  
  • Maintain a sanitary and safe work area by following SOP’s & GMP’s
  • Inform management of unsafe conditions
  • Follow all aspects of food safety and quality as defined in plant and department procedures
  • Maintain product quality of the assigned line, including ensuring that all components used in the process match the company’s formulas
  • Maintain a smooth production schedule, ensuring that each SKU runs
  • Report to supervision when there are any issues related to not achieving or needing to exceed the scheduled demand quantity.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the entire assigned production shift; working with all team members and helping where needed when work is not scheduled, or cleaning is not required on your assigned production line.
  • Fill out paperwork of the assigned shift to ensure that all downtime events of the line are documented
  • Report maintenance issues immediately; propose solutions to improve efficiency and/or ergonomics
  • Report any deviations to the standard to the supervisor using an “Incident Report”
  • Responsible for checking with processing ahead of time, to ensure that there are no equipment issues that could contribute to line downtime
  • Being able to deal with changes in the work environment and being an active contributor to positive changes
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
